Q Pop is proud to present its grand opening and first ever group exhibition featuring over 40 artists from around the globe..Come help us celebrate and make this occasion truly special.

Q Pop was born as a Tokyo-Bangkok-Los Angeles-based artist collective providing an outlet for a multitude of artists and designers to display and sell their art and products. Focusing on Asian, Asian-American, and modern multicultural goods, funky Gothic Punk street fashion & rare collectable items, Q Pop is evolving into a full-service pop culture provider with a shop and gallery in Japan town-Downtown, Los Angeles, as well as an online equivalent. Q Pop is also the exclusive US sellers of the Super Lovers and Lovers House clothing brands from Japan…as well as the west coast exclusive seller of Harajuku brands Sex-Pot Revenge and Algonquins.

What is Q? will be the mini gallery’s first exhibition. The idea comes from the question that many people ask, “what does the Q in Q Pop stand for?” Over 50 artists from around the world will answer that question in their own unique voices. Established artists and new names (such as Junko Mizuno, who’s new re-imagining of Sanrio’s Chococat has just been released, Nana Aoyama from Shibuya Girls Pop, who recently designed products for Anna Sui’s line, Anukun Hamala, thai designer and illustrator from Chiang Mai, and  Hideyuki Tanaka, creator of the popular animated series Super Milk-chan)
will provide a deeper understanding of the fun and creative atmosphere of Q Pop through their cool, super pop infused paintings..

An opening reception will take place from 7:00PM - 11:00PM on Saturday, January 29th, and feature free giveaways by Japanese fashion designers Sex Pot Revenge (as seen in Japanese fashion magazine KERA) and Q Pop. The Flying Pig gourmet food truck will be present for the hungry and many artists will be in attendance . For more information about the artists or Q Pop please contact:
