Come One, Come All! CPBR Bonus Class – 3 Credits for $5!

Here is your chance to take advantage of some advanced Paragon Training!  Now, you can get more training on something that you use every day.  Imagine, 3 credits for $5!!  This is an education session only.  There is no board meeting associated with this class.
 
Paragon Comprehensive a 3 hour lecture-style course that will dig deeper into the many features the Paragon MLS platform offers. Here are some of the topics we will cover:

  • How to perform and create customized searches (including map-based searching)
  • Working with and customizing search results
  • Adding and editing listings
  • Updating preferences
  • Paragon mobile and more...

Those who attend the course should have a thorough understanding of how to work within Paragon.

Celebrating 25 Years

Last year was CPBR's 25th anniversary. At CPBR's last membership meeting, three of the board's original members were recognized for 25 years of service. From left: Betty McEnaney, Gale Alger, and Mickey Gilineau. Congratulations, and thank you for your dedication and service!

Sammy Pierce Scholarship

Each year, CPBR awards two $1,000 Sammy Pierce scholarships to local students who demonstrate a strong history of volunteer or charitable services, leadership skills, and a commitment to their community and humanitarian efforts.

Applications for the scholarship can be secured by contacting high school guidance offices, and will be due in May. More information will follow soon. For more about the scholarship, click here.

CPBR Membership Meeting & Annual Legislative Breakfast

CPBR's March Membership meeting will feature our annual Legislative Breakfast. The meeting will be held on a Monday, March 20. We hope you'll plan to join us for an opportunity to hear from our local lawmakers, ask questions, and updates on key issues on this year's legislative docket. More details coming soon!
Winter Safety Tip: Take Measures to protect from CO Poisoning

Nationwide, hundreds of people die from carbon monoxide poison every year, and thousands are treated in hospitals. As the snow piles up in Vermont, make sure you clear snow from floor heating vents. A blocked vent can cause deadly carbon monoxide (CO) to come back into the home. If you lose power and use a generator always run it outside and away from windows and vents. Ensure you have smoke and CO detectors in your home!  Read
