Did You Know?

Did you know that a new licensee must complete 8 hours of continuing education within the first 90 days of their licensure?  Previously, that was a requirement, but enforcement was difficult. The rules have changed a bit.  Now, when a new license is issued, it is a temporary license that will expire after 90 days. When proof of education has been provided, the temporary license is made permanent.

CPBR Community Fund at Work

CPBR made a donation to support the Rounds family, who lost their home to a fire on July 2. This is the second donation made to families devastated by fire since our Golf for a Cause Golf Tournament was held in June. Thank you to all who helped assist in that effort. CPBR members continue to support their communities with integrity!
CPBR Realtor® Placemaking Grant

In 2016, the Crown Point Board was involved in the creation of the small park next to the school. The lot next to the school was once the site of an old village home. This property was destroyed by fire. A local Cavendish resident purchased the property and donated it to the town and school to be used as accessory parking and park area. The Crown Point Board, in association with the National Association of Realtors®, was involved in the placemaking grant to bring this project to fruition. This plaque was recently delivered to CPBR. We hope that CPBR members will stop by the park and feel proud of their part in making this project happen.
