Classroom Grants

How has your back to school transition gone?  
Is there anything your teacher is needing to help them better serve your student with autism?  
Sensory fidgets?  Classroom materials?  Educational toys?

We are here to improve the lives of ALL affected by autism.  

We want to help our teachers help their students.   We know that students with autism sometimes require specialized motivators or even additional classroom materials.    
We also know that sometimes budgets are tight.

Therefore we are announcing the...                                                                     
Autism Society of Nebraska's Classroom Grants! 

Thanks to the Nebraska community rallying around the Autism Puzzle Walk we are able to reinvest those dollars into our Supporting Our Community Grant Program.  We are thrilled to be able to make an impact directly on the front lines of our schools!   Apply soon before the funds have all been awarded! an application and send it in today!

Individual Enrichment Grants

The Autism Society of Nebraska still has some funding left for our 2012 Individual Enrichment Grants.  Have you applied?  If not, what are you waiting for?   The Autism Society of Nebraska's Individual Enrichment funding was designed to help supplement therapies, equipment, items, lessons or activities to enrich the lives of a person with autism.  These grants are for $150 and you are eligible to receive this funding once a year.

AutismCares Technology iPad Giveaway - DEADLINE December 7th!

Autism Speaks is thrilled to announce that through the generosity of and the James W. Pickle Foundation, 625 financially disadvantaged individuals with autism and schools will receive an Apple iPad 2!

Eligible applicants are individuals who:
- Have been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder by a licensed professional,
- Reside in the United States,
- Have limited income and cannot afford to purchase an iPad.

Note: If you already submitted an application for the iPad 2 grant in February 2012, you must re-apply to be considered for the new round.
