OMAHA: Easter Egg Hunt

The Omaha Support Group is once again teaming up with the Parent 2 Parent Program with Ollie Webb to create an accomodating event to get our families out into the community and experiencing what live has to offer!  Have you ever attended an easter egg hunt and had to deal with frustrations when you were not fast enough to collect the eggs?  Or maybe you were slowed down by your willingness to only collect red eggs or eggs with green polka dots or eggs not touching the grass.  If that sounds familiar then come hunt easter eggs with us!

For everyone who RSVPed please remember to join us at Camp Brewster in Bellevue on Saturday, April 7th for an Easter Egg Hunt!

OMAHA: AMC Theater Sensory Friendly movie - Mirror Mirror

AMC Entertainment and the Autism Society have teamed up to bring families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis with the “Sensory Friendly Films” program.

The movie auditoriums will have their lights brought up, the sound turned down, and AMC’s “Silence is Golden®” policy will not be enforced.   There will be no previews before the film so plan to arrive early as the movie will start at 10am.   AMC is also being very generous and letting our families bring in their own GFCF snacks.   Regular concessions are also available to purchase.
