Twitter turned 10, and to mark the occasion, several news sites looked at how the real-time social and news platform has evolved since its launch.

Apple’s spring product event included announcements about the new iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Air Pro, iOS 9.3, new Apple Watch bands, and more.

Pay-per-article platform Blendle launched in the U.S. with 20 publishers testing the waters. But some questioned whether the micropayment model can take hold in a market "awash in free content."

Contributor networks are growing at publishers like Fortune, which has recruited nearly 5,000 outside writers for what it calls its "op-ed page." To ensure quality over quantity, it employs a five-person team to solicit and edit content.
