Welcome! This week our roundup of interesting and noteworthy industry stories covers the evolution of Twitter as it celebrates its 10-year anniversary, Apple’s spring product event, U.S. publishers testing micropayment app Blendle, how Fortune is growing its contributor network, Adobe Summit 2016, and more.
Twitter turned 10, and to mark the occasion, several news sites looked at how the real-time social and news platform has evolved since its launch.

Apple’s spring product event included announcements about the new iPhone SE, a 9.7-inch iPad Air Pro, iOS 9.3, new Apple Watch bands, and more.

Pay-per-article platform Blendle launched in the U.S. with 20 publishers testing the waters. But some questioned whether the micropayment model can take hold in a market "awash in free content."

Contributor networks are growing at publishers like Fortune, which has recruited nearly 5,000 outside writers for what it calls its "op-ed page." To ensure quality over quantity, it employs a five-person team to solicit and edit content.
