At the Sutherland Bipolar Center, we don't turn anyone away. Unlike other clinics, you do not need a formal referral to receive services from us.

Clients are asked to make an initial phone call so we know which services are of interest and whether you are likely to qualify for those services. Friends and family of the client can make this initial inquiry, but in order to receive the services, the client will need to make direct contact with the Center staff.

The services we offer include individual therapy and family therapy, as needed. We also provide group therapy, teaching basic life skills in managing bipolar illness. And once those basic skills are mastered, an advanced skills group therapy could also be included in the program. All of this is offered in a collaborative relationship between you and our licensed clinical psychologist and her trained, supervised staff of highly qualified master's-level therapists. Working together to choose a personalized treatment program helps to empower the client and give you ownership to your well-being.

Our treatment services have helped hundreds of people since 2002. Even if our services don't match your needs, we will try to help you find someone who can assist you. You are not alone.
