President's Corner:
Hi Striders! The weather is shifting the seasons are changing and there are so many more opportunities for running. Before you know it, there will be beautiful trees and pretty flowers lining our runs. Spring racing season is slowly approaching and it's been great hearing about everyone's training and race prep. Remember to let us know on Facebook when your race is so we can support one another. This month we kick off our first Strides N Hops of 2022. Hope to see you out there!

April Board Meeting
We have a regularly scheduled board meeting planned for Wednesday, April 6th at 6:30pm. FB event coming soon, check for additional details.
All members are welcome to join board meetings! The board plans to attend in person. Members are free to attend in person or virtually. Just let us know (RSVP to FB invite) in advance so we can make accommodations.

There are a few vacancies on the current KS Board. If you have any interest in being the vice president, communications representative, or membership representative email president@kingstownestriders.org or let a board member know at a run.
Roles:
Vice President - Creates the agendas for board meetings, wingman or wingwoman to the president, click here for official description
Communications Rep - Social media maven, posts runs and other events, newsletter craftsperson
Membership Rep - Club ambassador for new members, inspirits existing members to pay membership dues

Aspire to Inspire?
KS is looking to find a coach for this year's track season. It's every Tuesday from June to the end of August. The club will pay for the individual to attend the RRCA Coaching program as payment for coaching our summer program. Click here for RRCA Coaching information.

More Daylight Coming Soon!
It's that time of year again - daylight savings. Sunday, March 13th we spring forward. Remember to change your clocks. The runs remain at 8am and we want you there bright-eyed and bushy tailed for the Sunday 3/13/21 District Taco run!
This wonderful turn of events will give us daylight until 7:30pm! Come on out on a Thursday night and celebrate with a run. :)
