New AONB Education Officer - Cat Oliver 

We are delighted to welcome Cat Oliver, pictured above with Dave Edgcombe, to our team to deliver the Coastal Creatures project, supported by the AONB, Heritage Lottery Fund and Tesco Bags of Help. Cat will be out and about this month meeting key partners and planning the first promotion and engagement activities of the project, so check out our Facebook and Twitter feeds for more information.
 


Small Grants from the AONB 

Got a good idea or want to try something new? The AONB's small grant scheme (Sustainable Development Fund from £100 - £5000) can help communities, agencies or businesses to get a small project off the ground. Activities need to fulfil at least one priority in our Delivery Plan and match funding can be time or money. Give us a ring to talk through your idea. More
 
Hartland Abbey Exhibition Launch
 
The AONB's Sustainable Development Fund has supported two new exhibition displays at Harland Abbey about the history of the estate's landscape and its starring role in classic films and TV dramas.. Tarka Country Trust Wildlife Fund


The Community Wildlife Fund run by the Tarka Country Trust is offering small grants to community groups in North Devon and Torridge wanting to carry out small scale projects that both benefit wildlife and involve the community.  More

Coastwise - Saunton Shore Safari
on 24 July at 2pm

This is a guided tour of the rocky seashore for the general public, accompanied by knowledgeable Coastwise members, to get an insight into the exciting world of the rock pool. All welcome, especially families. It is not strenuous, but you may get wet!
