Anti-segregation initiative co-ordinated from Campus Flemingsberg

Since the beginning of the year, Sweden’s anti-segregation agency, Delmos, has been based in Campus Flemingsberg. In December, Delmos is to present a new platform to measure and monitor segregation in Sweden together with Statistics Sweden (SCB). The agency’s co-operation with Södertörn University is now set to grow.

Laboratory of the Future set to improve cross-boundary co-operation

The move into Framtidens laboratorium - Laboratory of the Future - is currently underway at Campus Flemingsberg. This is where Karolinska Institutet is gathering several institutions and research hubs under one roof. The shared research environment is set to promote co-operation between different disciplines and fields.

New lab to accelerate development of cell, gene therapies

At the heart of the Laboratory of the Future facility a unique initiative is set to pave the way for the development of new cell and gene therapies. A so-called pre-GMP lab has been established as an entirely separate lab within a lab. The new facility is available to business and academia.

Companies on Campus: Sprint Bioscience

“Sprint Bioscience’s goal is to cure more people who are diagnosed with cancer. The large drug companies are looking for innovations to broaden their portfolios of drug projects. They do this through co-operation with small, creative companies such as Sprint Bioscience.”, says Anders Åberg, CEO.
