City Creates Homeless Commission

The City, as part of its efforts to address the homeless issue, has created a Homeless Commission, which is tasked with coming up with solutions to homelessness. The first meeting was held on January 25, 2021, via the City's Facebook page.

City Financial Reports Now Available

The City of Roseburg has completed its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR) for the year ending June 30, 2020. Both reports are now available on the City's website.

Downtown Parking Plan

The City, working alongside its Stakeholder Advisory Committee and parking consultant, is working on a strategic parking plan for the Downtown and Laurelwood Districts. The draft plan is available to view on the City's website and will be presented at a virtual Open House on February 17, 2021.

Library Implements Community Reads Program

The Roseburg Public Library is excited to present its first community read project featuring Oregon author, Tina Ontiveros. Her novel, "rough house," is the focus of the Community Reads Program.

RPD Welcomes New Community Service Officers

The Roseburg Police Department welcomes two new Community Service Officers (CSOs) to the team. Samantha Houck and Cierra Weger are excited to work in the community.
