Lenten Soup Supper and Service Wednesday, Mar 4, 6:00pm
You are all invited to attend the weekly soup suppers and services during Lent. We begin the evening with fellowship over a variety of soups, bread, and beverages prepared by members of Mt. Carmel. After the supper we will gather in the sanctuary for a service of Holden Evening Prayer. The soup supper on March 4 will be hosted by members of the Church Council.
ELCA Devotion book for Lent
The devotion book “Wondrous Love”, based on the Gospel of Matthew, is available in the Narthex for a donation of $3.00. The devotions include a scripture passage, brief homily and prayer for each day in Lent beginning Ash Wednesday, Feb 26, and are valuable for individual Lenten study. Sorry but there are no Large Print editions this year.
