The Adult Education Teams thanks congregation members for their enthusiastic response to our recent survey on Adult Forum topics. Put your donation in the box of the team you want to see win. The fullest box/team “wins”, and the food benefits those in need.
Community Building Team Monday, February 3 @ 6:30 pm
Do you have some ideas on events you might like to see at Mt. Carmel? Come to the Community Building Team meeting at the Priddy’s home. The purpose of this team is to create events—different events for different ages, or events that include all ages—with the goal of the congregation to grow in our relationship with each other. These are a great opportunity also, for bringing folk who are not already a part of Mt. Carmel, into the community. Sound interesting? Join us and see if you want to help. RSVP – Nancy Priddy – 805-459-9249.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the Dave Becker concert last Sunday whether playing, contributing, helping set up, serving or bringing refreshments, making up flyers and programs, or being at the concert. Thanks to your help, we raised $4,040 to be distributed to the San Luis Obispo High and Jr High Band Boosters, and the Morro Bay High and Jr High Music Boosters. We received recognition e-mails from Dr. Eric Prater, Superintendant of the San Luis Coastal School District, and Dr. Jim Brescia, County Supervisor of Schools. Special thanks to Dave Becker for an amazing concert!
