CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Sunday, September 29 - 10:45 am
Please join us for a congregational meeting following the worship service. The purpose of the meeting will be to consider the following motion: “The Mt Carmel Lutheran Church congregation gives powers to the Church Council to complete negotiations with an entity to be formed by Arpad Soo, Tim Rhonda, Brian Starr and their respective spouses as principals for sale of a portion of the Mt Carmel Lutheran Church property based on the tenants of the current Letter of Intent dated August 14, 2019.”
Nursery Care Available
There will be nursery care available for those parents attending the Congregational meeting. Bring all children to the Childcare Classroom, adjacent to the kitchen and brick area.
Confirmation Class and Sunday School Sunday, Sep 29, 11:00am
Due to the Congregational Meeting, the children and youth will gather in the Sunday School Class area. There will be Sunday School and confirmation, from 11 am to 12 noon, but the format may be changed, because of the meeting.

Meet and greet with our guest preacher, the Rev. Mary Stein-Webber, who is also the leader at the Women’s Retreat on Oct 18-20.
Brown Bag Lunch Friday, Oct 4, 12:00pm
Our speaker will be Travis Norton from the Central Coast Aquarium. He will share a brief history of the aquarium, then delve into the fascinating world of sharks. Bring your lunch and join us to learn more about God’s amazing creatures of the deep.

Food collection list for Iglesia Luterana Santa Cruz
The social action team invites you to join us as we collect food to replenish supplies for Santa Cruz Church pantry. Starting October 6th, the grocery cart will be out in front of the narthex doors. When you bring your food just put it in the grocery cart.
October 6th = bags of dry beans only, Pinto or red beans. (No canned beans please).
October 13th = bags of white rice (no fancy Gourmet mixes please)
October 20th = maseca/corn flour (not corn meal) and all-purpose or wheat flour
October 27th = large bags of small pasta
