
During the Florida Language Association’s (FFLA’s) annual convention in Kissimmee earlier this fall, Tzu-yu Zoe Chen was presented with the FFLA Most Valuable Teacher award for her teaching of Mandarin Chinese at Gullliver Preparatory School. Her role as a language teacher is incredibly important, since one quarter of the world’s population speaks Chinese and it is the fastest growing language studied in the U.S. The lessons taught by Tzu-yu Zoe Chen at Gullliver are presented in an easy and enjoyable form, which her students find appealing.
