Don't miss: YEAh Live 4 - fashion and beauty special with guest speaker Dr Yana Johnson
Founded by Lorraine James, the Young Entrepreneurs Association
runs a series of events aimed at young entrepreneurs. This edition of YEAh Live
is a post-fashion week/beauty special
with an African theme
and will showcase an Africa inspired fashion show with Mad Ethnik and Set Fashion Free.
Lorraine James, founder, Young Entrepreneurs Association, said: “My aim for the September 2013 YEAh Live event is for young people to gain knowledge of their origins and how this affects our business today. I aspire to do this through fashion, music and entertainment. My vision is for our young to experience the full advantages and benefits of networking, gain confidence to showcase their talent and products and receive mentoring.”
Highlights include keynote speaker Yana Johnson MBE who will share her experiences in climbing the ladder to running a successful beauty business. Dave VJ and Lindsay Wesker will showcase their new book Masters of the Airwaves – the Rise and Rise of Underground Radio, a history of British black music radio.
