PAT THOMAS AND THE KWASHIBU AREA BAND (GHANA) - the great Ghanaian Hi-life singer
Few genres of music can bring a smile to a listener’s face more quickly than highlife, and few highlife singers have a voice as uniquely powerful and resonant, yet silky sweet as the “Golden Voice Of Africa” and Ghana’s “first rock star”, the legendary Pat Thomas. He’ll be performing with the Kwashibu Area Band led by multi-instumentalist Kwame Yeboah (Cat Stevens, Patrice) and saxophonist Ben Abarbanel-Wolff (Ebo Taylor, Poets of Rhythm).  Book tickets

MIM SULEIMAN (ZANZIBAR)
Zanzibar born singer and songwriter Mim Suleiman is a globally renowned artist. She has been described as a fiery, electric, charismatic and vibrant performer. From traditional to electronic - Afro- disco- house, no matter what style she swings her rhythms in, her audiences are promised to be indulged. Her songs carry very catchy melodies and powerful messages which she sings in her native tongue Swahili. Book tickets

GINO SITSON (CAMEROON)
Workshop – 3pm / concert – 7.30pm
Award-winning, New York-based vocal virtuoso Gino Sitson is a French-American originally from the Bamileke region of Cameroon, Central Africa. Mr. Sitson forged an eloquent vocabulary capable of communicating far beyond any limits of language or custom. Through his vocal wizardry, he stunningly creates an endless range of sounds and atmospheres. Today he appears in the workshop at 3.00pm and concert at 7.30pm with cellist JODY REDHAGE-FERBER.
