AMECA CLINIC BUILD TO COMMENCE

We are really excited to announce the start of building phase for the AMECA Primary Healthcare Clinic at Chilaweni.
We could not possibly acknowledge all of you who have supported and advised us, but you know who you are and moreover, that you have our deepest gratitude.
My personal thanks as ever to the Directors of The AMECA Trust for their hard work, patience, advice and moreover, their enduring friendship.

Ruthie Markus, CEO

The Community

A ceremony for the laying of the Foundation Stone for the AMECA Clinic will be held at Chilaweni Village on 3rd May. The AMECA Trust would like to express its gratitude to The Traditional Authority Machinjiri and to Chief Malunga, village committee members and to all the community who have displayed such enthusiasm for this project. It was indeed heartwarming to visit you all the other day and see the wonderful work you have done in clearing the ground ready for the start of the building.
It is a tribute to this community that we have managed to keep going when so many hurdles lay before us and we are proud to be working alongside you.

The Location

Chilaweni Village, South Lunzu; catchment area for the primary healthcare clinic approximately 22,000 people located in 10 surrounding villages.

The Milestones
