Up next is our Nutrition Seminar with Registered Dietitian Harrison Blizzard on November 1. For more information about our seminar topics, or service providers please see our website.

Impressive Performance

Last week former AEP athlete Darius Ramrattan was awarded Innisfail's Male Athlete of the Year. Strength, determination, and perseverance are qualities that describe Darius as he continues his journey as a Slalom Kayaker. He has overcame set-backs and injuries to not only win this award, but also competed in the U23 worlds this past spring in Krakow, Poland. Congratulations Darius, and we wish success in all your future endeavors. Read full bio >>>

Mental Skills

Impossible from www.trainugly.com

  • It’s impossible to get good at identifying and solving problems when there are no problems to solve
  • It’s impossible to learn how to deal with adversity when you never experience failure.
  • It’s impossible to develop the ability to adapt and innovate when you never face challenges or change.
  • It’s impossible to grow without struggle.
  • Problem solving, dealing with adversity, adaptability, and growth are all REALLY important skills that we all want –  that we all need.
  • But we can’t forget where those skills come from.
  • And we need to make sure that we (and our people) face enough problems, experience enough failures, and make enough mistakes to develop them properly.
