Jaffa Goodie Balls
(great for labour!)
These are a great high protein snack and a really good source of energy for labouring women. Plus, they're delicious!
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup of walnuts, chopped
1 cup of dried figs, roughly chopped
1/2 a cup of pitted dates
1/2 cup of raw cocao powder
1/2 tsp cardamon powder
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp orange rind
1/2 – 3/4 cups of coconut oil
8 drops of rescue remedy (optional!)
Place the dried fruit in the processor first, then the rest of the ingredients leaving the oil until last. Blitz and roll into small balls.
