Needles and children are not things you commonly think of co-existing harmoniously. In fact, needles and children conjure up horrific thoughts of tears, tantrums and heartache. We will have demonstrations of a range of different things including acupuncture, diagnostic testing, hemaview, and much more. We will also draw the prizes from the 29th birthday competition.

Lastly, April is Parents' Health month at the clinic so this newsletter is filled with lots of information and tips to help you stay on track in the demanding world of raising children. Parenting often means a life of chaos and many traditional philosophies of mothering, in particular, encourage the idea that a woman must sacrifice her own needs for the sake of the family. So much parenting advice ignores the fact that it is the parents' state of mind that has a major impact on the child. We've only got ourselves to bring to parenting so it makes sense to invest in yourself and enhance the quality of what you bring to the child: stress, distraction and poor health choices, or calm, support, presence and healthy living.

Healthy Mum, Healthy Child: Parents' Stress Leaves Lasting Marks on Children's Genes.

So, it seems that being a better parent means being a healthier parent. Enjoy better health, raise happier kids and rediscover your sense of self with these little tips: Continue Reading...

Some men place place great value on achievement and life purpose, and sacrifice a large proportion of themselves in order to gain financial stability, corporate success and to provide for their families.
