Happy Thanksgiving from CYT Tucson! We are thankful for you and your involvement in this organization. Your support allows our programs to help youth develop character both on and off the stage.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 510537315), we are able to serve our community by providing quality, affordable educational programs, and productions. In order to do this, we rely in part on the generosity of individual and corporate donors, as ticket sales and class tuition are not sufficient to cover the cost of delivering top-notch programming.

CYT is back in-person

This Fall, we were able to hold a full session of classes as well as produce the highly anticipated Matilda the Musical! For those of you who were able to see it, you know that the cast was filled with energy and excited to be performing in front of a live audience. This Winter, we have a line-up of Master Classes as well as a fundraising gala to be presented in January 2022. Then, in Spring, we'll be producing Newsies the Musical!

Welcome to our new Board President

CYT Tucson owes a debt of gratitude for Therese Lester, our outgoing Board President, who served CYT Tucson in multiple capacities for the last several years. Her family relocated to the east coast, and they're embarking on a new adventure. We'd like to welcome Danielle Wright as our new Board President. Danielle got her start in theater at age 6 through Tom Thumb Players. In 2007, she received a BA from Brigham Young University's College of Theatre and Media Arts. Since then, she has continued her work in the theater and film industries, involving a variety of projects from large-scale concerts and stadium shows to community theater productions to feature films. She currently works full time as the Volunteer and Event Manager for SARSEF, a STEM education nonprofit. She is excited to serve in this capacity and is passionate about CYT!
