Wishing you a very Happy New Year!

I want to express my thanks to you for supporting the Sanctuary throughout the years!

I am sharing a memorial of our past and present “gang” in acknowledgment of your continued support, some of whom you may recognize. I have been blessed to provide for over 60 animals!

Not pictured because their life was cut short are Tilly, Shy, Beau, Oscar, Alex, Joxer, including those emergencies who were brought to us but did not survive. They are still a part of our “gang”.

What sets us apart from other organizations is that we receive un-adoptable animals at the sanctuary for the extent of their life, however short or long that may be. Because they are un-adoptable, we are not eligible to receive grants. We rely totally on donations.

Our “20-20” vision is to let you know our needs, so that we can plan for the current and possible future acceptance of more animals.

Each animal enjoys a cage-free life in community with other non-aggressive animals. Because all of them have an abusive history, were born with a disability, or have an unknown background, all have a special physical, emotional, and/or medical need. Each need requires extra finances, along with lots of patience and love.

Our history has proven that this environment actually extends their life span. The bond developed between each of the cats, dogs, and horses, living together, give them a confidence and common ground, promoting emotional health.

Special needs require constant 24/7 care, daily medicine and supplies, leg wraps, cast padding, vet wraps, diapers, gauze pads, sports tape, future wheelchair purchases or repairs, orthopedic care, along with food and hay.

Additionally, there are many issues to contend with in a rural setting, like snake and insect bites, volunteers and services unwilling to travel, and no available foster care. Then there are ranch needs as well, like new flooring, general repairs, and a working golf cart to cover 40 acres.

But...I can't do it alone. You can help in many ways, not just financial. Help share us on social media, iGive, Amazon Smile, Ebay, Company matches, and even help search for new grant opportunities.

Every donation is important and TOGETHER we can make a difference!!

Regards,
Annie
