Food Truck with GOUGE Wrestling

Meat, Men and Mayhem. And Beer.

The Food Trucks are chipping in to pay the entertainment, and the profits from his event are earmarked to benefit our sister enterprise, The Saturday Market. The Saturday Market is a year-round farmer’s market featuring fresh, local produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, specialty goods, art and handmade items. It’s a great part of the magic that we call Boylan Heights.

We are getting down and dirty once again with wrestling from the unforgettable men of Gouge Wrestling on Saturday, March 9th from 5-9pm! Mark your calendars for this super-popular weird meets wonderful event, featuring the joy, pain, glamour and spectacle of possible maiming and mortal peril. PLUS more food trucks than you can shake a stick at. Come indulge that primal side of you that craves meat, beer and seeing a guy jumping on another guy’s head!

The food truck lineup is pretty stellar. We have American Meltdown, Captain Poncho’s Tacos, Humble Pig, Gussy’s Greek Food, Chick-n-Que, Sympathy For The Deli, Sarge’s Chef On Wheels, CJ’s Street Food, Chirba Chirba DumplingsKlausie's Pizza and Sweet Stacey Cakes for dessert.

Our man Grog from GOUGE has arranged some pretty sweet match-ups as follows:

Mickey Gambino vs Seymour Snott

Jimmy Jack Funk vs Steven Stifler

Jahemm the Dream vs Fabulous Frankie in a “4 Corners of Donuts” match (sounds intriguing, doesn’t it?)...and Krazy Killer Klowns vs a mystery guest ....

We will have a photo booth so you can immortalize yourself with your favorite wrestler (never to early to plan next year’s Holiday Cards), and there will be plenty of can and keg beer to purchase. We have sodas (Ale-8-1, Zombie Brain Juice and Sprecher Root Beer) and Locopops available inside Rebus Works.

Festive dress and open-minded attitudes are encouraged, cheering/booing is required!

OTHER HAPPENINGS AT REBUS WORK

Jazz At Rebus Works

"Inspiring Hearts Cafe"-- is a collaboration between Ernest and Queen Harris, owners of Chick-n-Que and Bernard Harris, an unbelievable bass player and producer.  The idea is to test the waters of a jazz cafe in Raleigh so they will take over Rebus Works on Good Friday with the first performance of what will be a regular Friday Night Event.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and music starts at 7pm. Come enjoy the jazz grooves, tasty food inside Rebus Works.
The Saturday Market

April 13 will mark the opening day of the first Spring Saturday Market, which means longer hours (9:30-1:30), more vendors and warmer weather.  The Saturday Market is a year-round farmer’s market featuring fresh, local produce, baked goods, meats, cheeses, specialty goods, art and handmade items. It’s a great part of the magic that we call Boylan Heights.

We have been hard at work trying to get the space downstairs in order.  We are wanting to move the framing workshop downstairs and also have enough room for a Public House event space.  Thanks for helping us grow!
