Issues and crisis management with the PRIA

Hughes recently participated in the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s professional development masterclass, Communicating When Crisis Strikes.

The half-day event included a number of case studies and panel discussions, with a keynote from Belinda Noble, Head of Media & Communications at Australian Red Cross in Sydney.

Tim Hughes took part in the Reputation Management panel, drawing on his experience of helping clients navigate an issue or crisis to minimise the negative impact on brand reputation, and Kate Potter chaired a panel on social media crisis management.

Thank you to the PRIA SA branch for inviting us to be a part of this insightful and valuable event, and it was great to see it sold out with a packed room of Adelaide’s PR professionals.

Cedar Woods launches Glenside development

Hughes recently worked with client Cedar Woods to launch the Glenside development to registered buyers through a VIP Preview event at the new, purpose-built Sales and Information Centre.

More than 1,000 registrants attended and were given the details of the first homes to be released at Glenside – 15 architecturally-designed three, four and five-bedroom town homes along Mulberry Road.

Plans were also unveiled for Glenside’s first park which connects through to Victoria Park and the CBD via bike and walking trails.

Hughes worked with Cedar Woods on the launch strategy and generated media coverage for the preview in The Advertiser along with stories on Channel 9 and 7 News. We also produced a series of videos of the event for social and digital media

Medical Device Partnering Program's new visual identity

South Australia’s Medical Device Partnering Program (MDPP) is an ideas incubator that fosters collaborations between researchers, industry, end users and government to develop medical technologies with global market potential.

As the program continues to expand its reach across the state and nationally, Hughes’ graphic designers recently worked with the MDPP to reinvigorate its visual identity, including the design of a new website and logo.

Supporting those who support us

In 2017, BankSA Foundation provided over $300,000 in funding grants to nine South Australian charities, including youth mental health educator batyr, and SIDS and Kids SA, which provides bereavement support to people affected by the sudden unexpected death of a baby or young child.

Hughes recently helped the Foundation produce a moving video to highlight its ongoing support of local charitable organisations, with a particular focus on the positive impact that batyr and SIDS and Kids SA have had on the lives of South Australians.

The video was officially launched at a special BankSA Foundation fundraising event at the Adelaide Fringe in February. Watch here.
