Adelaide Airport welcomes new look Virgin Lounge

Adelaide Airport last week welcomed the opening of Virgin Australia’s new ‘lounge of the future’ - part of the airport’s current terminal expansion project.

Virgin Australia says the new lounge is the first product to be launched for travellers since it entered new ownership in November, offering a new look and design, which the airline says it will introduce to its other lounges around the country.

Hughes worked with Adelaide Airport to assist Virgin in launching the new lounge to media, the aviation/travel industry and travellers. Find out more here.

Improving the lives of people living with dementia

Helping Hand residents living with dementia are being given an opportunity to reconnect with memories through an interactive projector, which uses light, colour and music to stimulate physical, social and cognitive activity.

Interactive games allow people to virtually feed birds, turn spots into fireworks and pop bubbles among other things, and more importantly, spark conversations.

Thanks to the Jamestown Auxiliary, Helping Hand’s Belalie Lodge has been able to buy a Tovertafel unit, which was unveiled in Jamestown on Thursday by CEO Chris Stewart.

Hughes supported Helping Hand with media coverage of the Tovertafel unveiling, with Southern Cross Television covering the launch on regional TV on Friday night.
