The battle for social media supremacy

Almost every week a new social media platform is launched - some flourish (such as Vine) and some sink without a trace (Hello Ello).

Retirement living to reach new heights

Retirement living in Adelaide is set to reach new heights following development approval for The Brougham in North Adelaide. A $200 million development, The Brougham will offer retirees spacious residences, sweeping views of the city and unrivalled services and facilities.

Hughes has led the project marketing and communications strategy for The Brougham, comprising of brand identity development, marketing and sales collateral, website and digital communications, media relations as well as future signage and sales displays. Instagram in the news

Facebook (Instagram’s parent company) recently opened up the Instagram advertising platform, giving organisations an opportunity to reach the Instagram audience through paid content. The Instagram audience is often considered more selective about who they follow – but more engaged – than any other social media audience. 

Instagram has also been in the news recently with the image sharing platform announcing they are (finally!) allowing users to support more than one account without having to log out and log in again. 
 
Hughes has helped many of our clients communicate their key messages on Instagram for a number of years.  For example, we recently worked with MedicAlert to set up an Instagram account. Our first step was to develop a strategy outlining target audiences and communications objectives, followed by a hands-on session to create imagery. Instagram is the perfect platform to show the organisation’s range of contemporary and fashionable medical ID jewellery. Take a look here.
 
Adelaide Airport also engaged us to put a renewed focus on its Instagram.  By tapping into the Instagram community, which is using the platform to share their travel experiences, the airport is able to share in their journeyClick here to see the Airport’s Instagram account.
