20th Anniversary Lunch Series
Federal Shadow Treasurer Joe Hockey was guest speaker at the first of a series of Boardroom lunches being hosted this year to mark Hughes Public Relations’ 20 th anniversary.
The lunch was held in the spectacular, recently opened Panorama Suite at the Adelaide Convention Centre, and attended by business leaders spanning banking and finance, energy and resources, property and the professions.

New weather network
Measurement Engineering Australia (MEA) has appointed Hughes PR to manage the communications for the launch of a new weather station monitoring network in Western Australia.
The network has been designed to provide localised data to growers to enable them to make informed decisions on their irrigation scheduling.

Cellar Door Wine Festival success
The second Cellar Door Wine Festival has set new records with more than 6500 visitors attending and 153 wineries showcasing their wines to the public during the 3-day Festival at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Hughes PR worked with the ACC to develop a social media strategy for the event and its success was highlighted in a recent Advertiser article with online publicity reaching more than 98,000 people on Twitter and creating more than one million impressions.
