Social media strategy for SeaLink


Hughes PR recently worked with SeaLink Travel Group to develop a social media strategy to provide direction on social media approach, process and initiatives. The project required consultation with stakeholders from the SeaLink business Australia-wide, and an audit of existing resources and activity.

We provided clear, concise and time-bound recommendations to help SeaLink promote its strong national brand via a contemporary and effective social media presence.

BankSA optimistic about advanced manufacturing

BankSA has released its latest economic bulletin Trends, which predicts a bright future for advanced manufacturing in South Australia.

Hughes once again provided content and graphic design support to BankSA to help produce Trends. In addition, we helped generate media coverage to publicise key findings, and co-hosted a stakeholder event to officially launch the publication - view photos from the event here.

New $40m Bowden apartment project to set new Standard


A new $40 million apartment development at Bowden near the Adelaide CBD is set to provide buyers with one of the most generous energy arrangements for apartment owners in Australia.

Developed by Arcadian Property, ‘The Standard’ – which will rise eight storeys and include 68 apartments and five townhouses – will set new benchmarks for energy efficiency and sustainability thanks to an embedded network spearheaded by a 30kW commercial grade solar system. Significantly, apartment owners will benefit from an unprecedented energy deal that locks in a 27% discount on an individual’s electricity consumption charges for the first five years (reducing to a still considerable 10% discount in years 5-10).

Hughes helps unearth a McLaren Vale wine gem


Hughes recently helped biodynamic winery Gemtree Wines to launch a new premium quality McLaren Vale single-vineyard shiraz, and the first wine in the world to be ‘returned to the earth’ in a barrel to age.
 
SubTerra was aged in a wax-coated French oak barrel buried deep in the soil underneath the vines where the grapes for the wine were handpicked, with the earth providing a perfect temperature-controlled natural cellar for the wine to mature.
 
We provided Gemtree Wines with an integrated communications strategy for the launch, bringing together publicity, social media and content creation, including video. A media exclusive was also successfully secured with The Australian to launch the campaign.
