The Decisive Moment

"The decisive moment, it is the simultaneous

Friday, September 20
AMC River East 21 Chicago

Barbeque fills the air as Fourth of July celebrations move from a hot summer day into night. Joe, a hardworking man who travels a lot, leaves his family behind for the holiday, citing a business trip. Abigayle, his daughter, is left to tend to her ill mother and manage the suburban house. To get her through a night of responsibilities, she seeks attention from Dexter, a former high school basketball star. While Abigayle is out with Dexter, Joe is quietly spending time with June, a young man he met online. This night, the small world that these four live in will become even smaller, though the freedom they experience has never been so dangerous, fleeting and honest.

Call for Writers & Filmmakers

Headquartered in Logan Square's AnyWhere Space at Milwaukee and Belden, AnySquared Projects is an artist collaborative and network. We produce art events, projects and ongoing activities with the mutual support and participation of area artists and local businesses. Propelled by a deep sense of cooperation with our neighbors, AnySquared functions on the idea that we can do anything as long as we do it together.
