From 2007 to 2012 we invested in the creation of a
Fire Science Brief Library

Each of the 149 Briefs tells the story of a selected individual research project funded by the Joint Fire Science Program. These 3-5 page articles have supported the efforts of wildland fire managers, practitioners, policymakers, and educators for the last seven years.

Familiar to many of you, yet undiscovered by many more, we invite you to peruse the titles in the archive. These are quick, interesting reads, that provide options for drilling down to further details of each project if you so desire.
