A Note From Leslie:
(Asst. Director, Fiscal and Operations)
All hard copy keys should be returned to me no later than the last day of classes if you are graduating or not returning next semester.

All individuals graduating or not returning next semester need to be removed from card access. Leaders should provide me with a list of these individuals no later than the last day of classes.

Applicable to a select few, you know who you are: KPI's and application data must be up-to-date before leaving for winter break.

In Case You Missed It
End-of-Semester Presentations
On Friday, December 2nd, Student Media staff and leaders gathered for the last time before winter break to celebrate accomplishments and share their end-of-semester takeaways. The student leader from each group, along with key members of his or her staff, were each given a few minutes to present this semester's successes, challenges, and noteworthy experiences to their peers and the professional staff. Following the presentations, everyone enjoyed lunch from Jersey Mike's and a celebratory cake (see photo above).

Student Media was honored to have special guest
Juliet Blank-Godlove, University Life's Dean of Students, in attendance to meet our amazing students and hear them share their "best moments" face to face. A big thank you to Juliet for her time and continued support for Student Media!

Congratulations on another great semester & best wishes for a fun and safe winter break!
LIVE Basketball Coverage Update
If you've been paying attention to this space in recent weeks, you know that Mason's basketball season is already well underway, with MCN and WGMU providing LIVE coverage of nearly all men's and women's home games.

Recently, WGMU produced seven games over seven days (Mon 11/21 - Sun 11/27), including three straight days of the Gulf Coast Showcase tournament (Mon - Wed).

On their commitment to cover games even when the rest of the university is off celebrating the holidays, Associate Director
David Carroll had this to day: "Everyone always assumes that "nothing is happening" over breaks, but that is simply not true."

A big thank you to all those involved including
Cory, Cody, and Matt for holding things down in the studio, and announcer Dan Ward, who called three women's games in this time period (including an away game at Towson!)
