Crozet Avenue Streetscape Update

Please note that the contractor is in the process of installing crosswalks, which requires the installation of temporary “bumps” at each crosswalk. “Bump Ahead” signs have been posted to warn motorists of the changing road conditions. Please drive slowly over these temporary bumps. Please remain alert and drive/walk carefully when traveling through the construction area. Thank you for your patience and courtesy to motorists, pedestrians and workers during this difficult phase of construction.

Motorists - PLEASE, PLEASE, drive slowly through the construction zone.

The rest of the Streetscape update, including information about planned work this week and upcoming plantings and landscaping on are the CCA's website Streetscape Update page, which you can get to by clicking here.

An update on this project will be posted on the CCA website and county staff will be at the Crozet Community Association (CCA) meeting on Thursday, September 11 to give an update and answer questions.

ABOUT the Crozet Community Association (CCA)

The CCA was incorporated in February 1985 by a group of local Crozet residents who saw the need to work together to protect, preserve, and enhance our Crozet community and establish a forum where all are welcome.  We meet on the second Thursday of the odd-numbered months (e.g., January, March) at 7:30 PM at the Field School.
