MAX MIRROR MISSION
Despite very windy weather on Saturday, our youngest and younger mirror sailors managed to get together, make some friends and get on the water – in no small measure due to the calibre of teenage helpers that assisted with MMM this year. As ever Captains Hat and the Scavenger Hunt proved very popular – do we even need to sail! Click here to have a look at Mary Pudney’s photos which are up on the ISC website. A huge thank you to Rob and Sarah Sutherland for organising MMM.

MIRROR TASTER RACING
New for 2013, Mirror Taster Racing proved extremely popular with 22 boats participating in 3 short races in the Gallon Reach. After a quick briefing, a team of 11 of our experienced mirror racers sailed with those newest to racing and helped them through the starts (flags and sound signals), reading the course, the port/starboard and avoid collisions rules. It was a fabulous morning and one which I hope inspired many of our younger sailors to race.

MARKETING HELP
Can anyone help me with marketing for our ISC Mirror Class? I would like to promote what the mirrors are doing more on the ISC website, MCA website and Facebook page and also with the local press. We have a professional copywriter who can also help but we do need to feed information into her. A report on MMM and Mirror Taster Racing would be great in the Chi Observer. Anyone interested?
