New Old Time Chautauqua,  Spring 2011

Dear Friends of New Old Time Chautauqua,

March Madness is upon us, with FOUR opportunities to see fantastic vaudeville shows in the Northwest !

Our return engagement at the world's largest and most renowned Comedy/Variete event, Seattle's own 8th Annual Moisture Festival, will be Sunday March 20th at 3pm, a family-friendly matinee.

This show features old and new favorites from among Chauatuqua's members and other performers appearing in the Moisture Festival, including:

  • Joey Pipia, our mellifluous and magical Master of Ceremonies
  • Shannon, the airiest of aerialists
  • Hacki Ginda, the clowniest of clowns
  • Carla Ulbrich, the sensational singer of her songs
  • Godfrey Daniels, the most unusual of people
  • Magical Mystical Michael, the most magical of Michaels
  • Kevin Murphy, the master of words
  • Christian Swenson, the master of movement and more
  • Mud Bay Jugglers, the masters of amusing juggling
  • Tune Stranglers, the band often seen fraternizing with hairy jugglers
  • Della Moustachella, the incredibly amusing woman
  • Smerdyakov Karamazov, a fuzzy funny fellow
  • As well as the garish and garrulous Fighting Instruments of Karma Marching Chamber Band/Orchestra

-------------------------------

Just one week after our Moisture Festival engagement, there are THREE opportunities to see our brothers in silliness, none other than the
                            Flying Karamazov Brothers
in their award-winning show 'AIRPLAY,' in both Port Townsend and Olympia, WA, in benefit shows supporting the New Old Time Chautauqua.

Masters of Juggling and Cheap Theatrics, four times triumphant on Broadway, it's New York's current best looking, jazz-playing, cleaver-throwing foursome!

Come see this terrifically talented troupe as they thrill and delight in this extraordinary extrava-tainment danger-ganaza.

"Zany! Literate!... They resemble a squad of Groucho Marxists."
