Thomas Aquinas College
Dear Friend,

While many schools have decided to cancel or truncate the upcoming academic year, I am delighted to report that Thomas Aquinas College plans to fully re-open — with in-person instruction — in just two weeks! We give thanks to God for this tremendous turn of events.
For the last six months, we on the New England campus have worked diligently to welcome back students in a way that will keep them, our employees, and our neighbors safe. I invite you to watch the video below, which features the exciting centerpiece of our ongoing efforts.

As part of our re-opening plan, we are renovating the antiquated Tracy Student Center so that it will be a fun, desirable spot for students to gather and socialize without leaving campus. We likewise need to expand our classroom capacity and on-campus exercise options, add more outdoor seating, and stock up on the requisite supplies of face masks and hand sanitizer. With so many students’ families suffering from unemployment and income loss, we will also need to significantly bolster funding for financial aid.
I am writing in the hope that you will help us meet the challenge of preparing the campus in time for the start of the second year at Thomas Aquinas College, New England. With Convocation Day set for August 22, we must move quickly!
We have surveyed our students to find out what sort of amenities they would like to see in Tracy Student Center. We have likewise assessed what other needs we must meet on campus in order to accommodate our growing student body. As a result of this research, we now have a comprehensive list of the items the College requires by the start of the year, everything from board games to seminar tables to kitchen equipment.
Could I please ask you to take a look at the list, and see if you may be willing to fund any of these items as a gift to the students of Thomas Aquinas College? Your generosity is essential to helping us return to in-person classes and making Catholic liberal education possible on our New England campus once more.
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of Thomas Aquinas College, New England, I thank you in advance for your support. Please pray for the successful reopening of our campus. We will pray for your intentions as well.
