Greetings, Ethel,

We are very excited to announce our next bowling event on March 28! It will be held at AMF Marietta Lanes which is located at 565 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060 (close to the South Loop). Bowling starts sharply at 2 p.m. (bowlers should arrive by 1:30 or 1:45) and ends at 4, at which time the raffle will begin. The cost to bowl is $20 per person including shoe rental.
To help us plan, it would be fantastic if you could pay in advance. Click on the link below to go to PayPal. Once there, click the “Add special instructions to the seller link” and then type “Bowling registration for X people.”  You may also add $40 to sponsor a lane.  We will have a display table available for all sponsors for business cards and/or brochures. If you have any questions, please email us at
You can support SNGA’s programs by bringing donations to the event or buying raffle tickets for an eclectic array of items. If you would like to participate in the raffle, come early—ideally by about 1:30—and consider bringing new birthday presents such as art kits/supplies, sporting equipment, Legos, or books for tweens and teens. We also need children's toothbrushes. Another option is to bring $25 gift cards to Payless Shoes or Walmart for Shoe Them Love.

Those who donate items will receive raffle tickets that put them in the running to win a wide variety of prizes including restaurant gift cards, artwork, gift baskets, movie tickets and more. (If you'd like to donate a raffle prize, please let us know.)  Raffle tickets will also be available for sale at the event so you can increase your chances to win.

The goal of this special event is to raise money and collect donated items for two of our programs geared toward uplifting the lives of disadvantaged children in Cobb County.
  • My Birthday Matters brings new birthday presents to disadvantaged schoolchildren as well as homeless kids living in shelters.
  • Shoe Them Love helps families buy new shoes for children who might otherwise have to wear hand-me-downs.
We truly appreciate all the donations we’ve received lately to help families in need. Please see our donation page in case you’d like to help us out at this time with household items or with another of our programs. We’ll be collecting donations on Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our warehouse space. Please email us at for the address. (We cannot take donations other than when we schedule these donation days which is why we do not advertise our address in general.)

Thanks for your support of people in need!
