Shrii Shrii Anandamurti was born on the May New Moon of 1921 in Jamalpur, Bihar - India . It is called Vaesha'khi Purnima in Sam'skrta and it was the same auspicious day when Lord Buddha was born.

This special celebration brings renewed joy and strength to the whole marga community allover the world. In Mexico, Guatemala, Canada and USA this year the birthday anniversary of our Guru was celebrated with several spiritual programs that gathered the devotees at different times of the day. Some celebrations happened to start at 6 am that was the exact birth time. Other repeated along the day and always a very sweet vibration was felt by all the participants.

New and old margi shared in Cuernavaca Mexico where an Akhanda Kiirtan was in program from 10 am till 1 pm with Dada Shantatmananda giving his loving attention since the whole week in expectation of the event. In Guatemala margi enjoyed also with the participation of Dada Ragatmananda which kiirtan never stops even when he is not playing. In Monterrey Dada Cirananda and Didi Anudhyana where welcoming the margi since Painca Janya time and kiirtan went on also during breakfast time. In New York Dada Iishvara Krsnananda had the most beautiful spiritual experience of his life when he danced no stop for three hours with a few margi. Considering the health conditions of Dada it is just a devotional miracle and an inspiration for all. New York saw three programs including a Sadhana Shivir and the regular Dharma Cakra. In Canada programs where help with Dada Parinirvananda and Dada Divyalokeshananda. In Dallas Texas, celebrations also went to a high devotional involvement. In Los Angeles as well as in Denver Dada Vimalananda and Dada Dharmapremananda conducted programs for the celebration. In Chicago also margi celebrated with an Akhanda Kiirtan stated at 6.00 am. Waves of bliss seems not to have left alone any corner of New York Sector. Devotion cannot be compared with any other sentiment. There is no way to contain it or reduce it to  mere formality. It will always spring up somehow in spite of any difficulty that may arise. Parampita Baba Ki - Jay

''The followers of the path Shreya will naturally have to fight against their samskaras of Preya, their animal propensities. They will have to control their crude tendencies like greed of money, craving for name and fame, desire to maintain a sanctimonious façade and longing for praise through misrepresentations and lies'' .

What Are the Noble Truths?
 by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti

The subject of today’s discourse is, “What Are the Noble Truths?”

Ánandádhyeva khalvimáni bhútáni jáyante
Ánandena játáni jiivanti ánandaḿ prayantyabhisaḿvishantiiti.

This universe has emanated from the Supreme Bliss or Ánandam; it is being maintained in Ánandam, and will finally dissolve in Ánandam. Some people say that this universe is full of sorrows; there is no joy in it, About three thousand years ago, many philosophical queries first sprouted in the human mind. Prior to this there were scriptures but no philosophical treatises. Acarya Kapila was the first philosopher. Out of great admiration people used to call him ádividván, “the first scholar.” According to some persons, truth is fourfold: caturáryasatyam. What are those four noble truths? – 1) sorrow, 2) the cause of sorrow, 3) the cessation of sorrow, 4) the means to the cessation of sorrow.

O Lord,
by Your sweet smile,
flowers blossomed,
and honeybees gathered all over.
On Your bosom the earth is held.
With love and affection,
You awakened life,
and brought consciousness
into the world of forms.
With an affectionate and enchanting glance,
You generously gifted heavenly nectar.
You call everyone with the voice of clouds
and bring sweetness into the mirror of mind.
Amidst darkness,
by Your illusory play,
Your light falls through in luminous flashes.
O formless one,
You came into the sphere of mind
and, in the form of light rays,
passed through each of my pore.
