BEACONS OF LIGHT

The Rule of Rationality  by Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar

This solar system is sufficient in its potentiality to maintain, nourish, feed and supply material for existence not only to human beings but to all its living beings.

Due to our folly or undeveloped thinking, we could not give proper solutions to the problems of material existence. Now our planet is just like a hidden treasure.

We have to utilize this hidden treasure for the maintenance and sustenance of all the living beings of this universe.

Sister Nirmala Passed away

She was one of the great pillar of marga in Taiwan in her early age.She moved to USA and Married with an American Margiis Dharmapal.Ashville.NC.

I don't have the words yet, but I love you so much mama and the world seems darker with you gone, but you are so bright above us in the stars, in HIS lap, so loved - Her daughter Tara

Dear Tara, your mom was such a bright light, and I will miss her so very much. She came to my house a few times this past year and brought dinner and we worked on some Baba postings for FB. I know she loved you and Sam so very deeply and often talked about you both. I lit a candle next to Baba's photo and talked to her awhile after I learned of her passing. I hope she knows how much we loved her. I'm so sorry for your loss. Love, Liila NC

I am totally shocked and surprised to know about departure of Nirmala from this earth. I had known her since 1979. She was our LFT and worked very hard in Hualien area in Taiwan. She was great vegetarian cook. I brought her to run our yoga vegetarian restaurant in Taipei. She worked very hard with all the staff. She has been chatting with me about Baba Photos. She wanted to preserve the photo. She wanted to know the history of the photos. She used to work very hard to make Chinese Dishes during Ananda Kanan retreat. I share my grief with Dharmapal, Tara and Sam.I send my deepest condolence to the family. Oh Lord! Sister Nirmala was your loving Daughter please keep her near you. - Dada Iishvara Krsnananda

Recipe by Bhaeravii
Blackeyed peas are served around the world from Indonesia and the Greek Islands to the Caribbean and Brazil, and is one of the most popular tasty legumes. In India, black-eyed peas are called Lobia or Rongi and cooked as for a dal, served with boiled rice. Black-eyed peas are extremely drought tolerant, so they grow in very hot climates, and the blossoms attracts all sorts of pollinators and makes delicious honey. Blackeyed peas, an American soul food, are considered a good luck symbol and are eaten on New Year's Day. This "caviar" is a colorful combination of beans, corn, and sweet and hot peppers originally made in Texas and the American South. The term is used to describe dishes that are perceived to resemble fish roe caviar, such as "eggplant caviar" (made from eggplant or aubergine) and "Texas caviar" (made from black-eyed peas). The easy-to-make, fresh tasting winter salad gets better as it marinates in its sweet-'n'-spicy dressing. Serve with corn chips or a side salad. (READ FULL RECIPE)

Give me strength,
O Lord, give me strength!
I want to remove all my bondages.

Give me melody, still more melody,
so that I may always sing Your songs.

In the hopes and despairs of gain and loss,
let my mind never be involved.

In Your vast cosmic vibration,
let me create at least a tiny star.
Let me merge myself in Your work.
Let me merge myself, O Lord.
Creating just a tiny star.
Let me merge myself in Your work.,
creating just a tiny star.
Let me merge myself in Your work.

In the monotony of life,
my mind refuses to remain.
It wants to flow in the nectar of melody.
In the world there are countless flows.
Give me strength, O Lord.
Give me strength.
I want to break all bondages of attachment.

Give me melody, still more melody,
so that I may always sing Your songs.
