Change to Wednesday Nights for Fall Training.
RCSSC Fraser Sea Cadets

Wednesday Night Parades

RCSCC Fraser is exploring the possibility of parading on Wednesday nights rather than Thursdays beginning September 2012. The impact this will have on our attendance is a great concern, as we do not wish to create a situation where cadets have other activities on Wednesdays and can no longer attend.

We require feedback from parents and cadets regarding the move to Wednesday nights in order to anticipate the impact this change will make to cadet attendance. Please take the time to fill out a quick survey to let us know your thoughts.

RCSCC Fraser traditionally has paraded on Wednesday nights; however, due to conflicting schedules when we paraded at the armoury in New Westminster we were required to move to Thursdays. Now that we are parading full time at Annacis Island Training Quarters, we are relatively free to set our schedule as we see fit. The benefits of parading on Wednesdays include historically higher attendance rates, a break before weekend activities, and historically less conflict with school activities.

This change will directly impact our cadets and parents and your feedback is greatly appreciated.
