Weekend Curriculum Class with Dawa Tarchin Phillips: The 22 Faculties
February 18 & 19, Sat-Sun, 9AM-1PM
Identified in the Abhidharma are the six senses, the three factors concerning gender, the five feelings,
the five spiritual faculties, and the three super-mundane faculties. This course will discuss how our
understanding of these faculties -our perception of and interaction with the world -contribute to our
ongoing confusion or gradual awakening respectively.
Teacher: Santa Barbara Center's curriculum is led by the resident teacher Dawa Tarchin Phillips, a
masterful dharma teacher and well-known mindfulness and meditation expert. Bodhi Path Santa
Barbara regularly hosts visiting teachers.
