Melbourne Mussel Choir LAB
Invitation to two open studio events: 19 + 20 June
The Australian Network for Art and Technology (ANAT) and Carbon Arts invite you to join artist Natalie Jeremijenko in Melbourne to share in the R+D of the innovative Mussel Choir public artwork for the Docklands. Meet the team, listen to presentations, enjoy a drink and get involved!
The Mussel Choir is a bio-sensing, sonic artwork that translates dynamic water quality and ecology into song through the sensing of mussel colony behavoiur. This was a winning artwork of the Echology: Making Sense of Data commission run by ANAT and Carbon Arts with developer, Lend Lease.
