MARLENE CREATES: WORKS FROM BLAST HOLE POND ROAD, NEWFOUNDLAND 2002-2021
Exhibition: June 15 - September 10
The solo exhibition Marlene Creates: Works from Blast Hole Pond Road, Newfoundland / Œuvres réalisées au chemin Blast Hole Pond, Terre-Neuve 2002–2021 is now open at CVAG.

Marlene Creates (pronounced "Kreets"), is an environmental artist and poet whose art practice includes photography, video, scientific and vernacular knowledge, walking, and collaborative site-specific performance. For over 40 years, her work has been an exploration of human experience, memory, language, the land, and the impact they have on each other. Since 2002, her work has been intimately focused on the 6 acres of boreal forest where she lives in a 'relational aesthetic' to the land. Click here to learn more about the exhibition.

Exhibitions at CVAG are free -- with donations gratefully accepted. Our hours are 10am to 5pm, Wednesdays to Saturdays.
