The Honourable Robert French AC delivers our 2017 Law Oration

Two hundred visitors to the Supreme Court were privileged to hear The Honourable Robert French AC deliver our 2017 Law Oration at Banco Court 9 on February.

As his first speaking appearance since his retirement as Chief Justice of the High Court, this year's Law Oration was entitled Rights and Freedoms and the Rule of Law. The topic proved especially timely given recent comments by US President Donald Trump.

The Community Legal Centres Queensland Conference is taking place on 8-9 May at the Mantra Legends Hotel, Surfers Paradise.
