Here's your chance to read my next book, BAD LITTLE FALLS—for free—six months before it's in stores.

Free for My Fans

Everyone has been asking me about the third Mike Bowditch book. BAD LITTLE FALLS won't be in stores till August 7, but I want to give you a chance to read the novel first and for free.

As a special promotion to benefit Maine Writers & Publishers
Alliance, I will be appearing at the Maine Festival of the Book in Portland at noon on Saturday, March 31. The first 20 people in line who buy a copy of the paperback of TRESPASSER (or THE POACHER'S SON) will receive a signed copy of the BAD LITTLE FALLS advance reader edition!

I know many of you won't be able to attend the event, which is why I'm sharing with you this exclusive excerpt from the book. (Look for more announcements of BAD LITTLE FALLS giveaways in the next few months.)

Bestselling author Nevada Barr has already read the book, and here's what she says: "Bad Little Falls is a jewel of a book. Doiron has gotten it all magnificently right: a hell of a good mystery, beautifully drawn landscape and characters so evocatively written they follow you off the page. Buy this. The guy can write."

If you haven't visited my website in a while, I have added some new features, including a Character Guide and an interactive map of Mike Bowditch's Maine. And remember that you can follow all my upcoming events through my Google calendar. I will be touring this summer to support BAD LITTLE FALLS, and I might just be coming to a bookstore or library near you.

I always enjoy hearing from readers, so don't be shy about dropping me a line.

Best wishes,

Paul
