Can anybody understand what I’m going through?

If you ask this question, this email may be for you. Whether you’ve experienced loss, you are struggling with your mental heath, or you are supporting a loved one with their mental health journey, we have three support groups starting soon, led by people who truly understand.

Harder than any of life’s challenges is feeling alone in those challenges. This is your opportunity to meet with others who are on the same journey and to know you’re not by yourself.

When mental health difficulties and disorders arise in your life or in the life of a loved one or family member, you may experience such feelings of confusion, loneliness, and conflict. The Living Grace and Family Grace curriculum were designed with you in mind and is grace-filled, research-proved, and biblically-based. Our time together will help remove confusion around mental health, generate healthy support and deeper connection with family members, improve your own sense of well-being and resilience, and strengthen your faith.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Wednesdays at 6:30pm, Starting September 28
Online via Zoom
Led by Mark Cooksley and Debbie Williamson

This is a virtual support group for adults (18+) struggling with mental health who are interested in simple biblical and neuroscience insights and tools to reduce stress, anxiety and depression. The first lesson lays a foundation for understanding our identity in Christ. We may struggle with mental health but learning about it in light of who God says we are makes such a difference. Each week is filled with the opportunity to look at scripture, share experiences, and explore helpful tools for addressing common mental health issues.

This is a 16-week curriculum. The group will do eight weeks in the fall of 2022, and eight weeks in the winter of 2023. Please order a Living Grace workbook from mentalhealthgracealliance.org.
