September Update

With Autumn just around the corner, we're looking forward to our busiest quarter of 2015, filled with events and opportunities for the life science community in Wales. Our rise in membership continues this month, and we'd like to send a very warm welcome to our newest members Roche Diagnostics UK, BBI Solutions, and Cardiff & Vale University Health Board.

Joining the Autumn programme is the
MediWales Members' Showcase on 19th October, which is a chance to meet our 20 new members. This event offers presentation and exhibition options, technology demonstrations and excellent networking and business development opportunities.

Our upcoming events include a number of clinical innovation workshops with opportunities for companies and the NHS to collaborate and engage. Take a look at our collaborative events list for specific opportunities.

We're currently putting together the final few articles for our bi-annual magazine, UK Lifescience Industry, and we can't wait to share the new edition with you when it is finished. Contact Tess today if you'd like to be involved.

On 1st December we will be welcoming 300 delegates to the annual UK HealthTech conference. With exhibition space and sponsorship packages available, the conference offers the perfect opportunity to showcase your company and enhance your profile within the health technology community. Please get in touch if you have an idea for a fringe event that could take place at a time close to UK HealthTech.

Finally, we are thrilled to announce our 10th Annual MediWales Innovation Awards competition is now open for submissions and registration! All members have 2 free places to attend, and we are looking forward to celebrating the great and the good of life science in Wales.

We hope to see you there!
