We are in the run up to one of our busiest times of the year and this Autumn you will find us attending and exhibiting at a range of events, ready to catch up with members and create new business opportunities. Keep an eye on our Twitter page for updates about what we are doing and where you can find us.

Our next event will be the popular Members' Showcase on the 4th of October, followed by our Brexit Event on the 31st of October. Look out for key dates for our LifeScience Academy workshops too.

Our landmark event is the UK HealthTech Conference which will be on the 6th of December. Key note speakers include:

LifeStories 2016

Innovation in NHS Wales

The upcoming second issue of LifeStories will explore new innovations in the healthcare, life science and health technology landscape. With selected highlights from this year’s MediWales Connects: NHS Collaboration conference and case studies showcasing the successes of the Efficiency Through Technology Fund, along with news of our members’ significant achievements from the past year, LifeStories 2016 will promote the best of the Welsh life science sector to a worldwide audience.

MediWales Innovation Awards


The 11th annual Innovation Awards will take place on the 13th of December

Over 300 VIPs and guests come together for this gala evening to celebrate the achievements of the NHS, life science and health technology communities. With 10 awards across industry and NHS categories, the awards offer a platform to identify outstanding achievements in the life science sector in Wales. Members get two free places to attend and there are also opportunities to sponsor an award. View the event page for more information.


Applications for awards open on the 21st of September and close on the 21st of October. Please contact Isabelle for the application forms or for more information.

Welcoming new members
