PYM-USA is thrilled to announce that we are planning our first-ever Palestinian and Arab youth summer school and national general assembly July 26th – August 2nd, 2015 in Southern California! The week-long summer school program will bring together 45 youth between the ages of 18 and 35 for an intensive political education and leadership development program, culminating in the first national general assembly for PYM-USA.
This project will be the first of its kind in the U.S., and one which the organizers hope will create a precedent for such educational programs for our communities in the future.
Through a diverse curriculum of lectures, seminars, peer-led workshops and discussions, cultural performances, and meetings with other youth and community groups, the PYM summer school aims to:
