Open Council Meeting
Planning in the Royal Borough

The Council is keen to grasp new opportunities to engage more directly with residents. With this in mind we have decided to hold an annual themed Council meeting at which residents’ voices can be heard on issues of key importance to the future shape of the Royal Borough.

If you plan to attend it would be helpful if you could reply to so we know how many people to expect.

Local Plan Partial Review

The Council is undertaking a Partial Review of its existing Local Plan. The Council is now consulting on the second stage in the Local Plan Partial Review and very much welcomes your views on the Draft Policies. The consultation ends at 23:59h on Sunday 11 December 2016. To respond please fill in the on-line response form which can be found on the link below. The Council has also organised a number of discussion group events; details of the events and how to register can also be found on the link below.

There are a number of topics that are being reviewed as part of the Local Plan Partial Review. 
The consultation documents including the Draft Policies, the related evidence based documents, responses to the previous Issues and Options consultation as well as an Integrated Impact Assessment, and details of the forthcoming discussion groups can be found on the Council’s website.
